In 1980, Oscar and Vicky Tudela moved to California from Bolivia in pursuit of the American Dream. Equipped with determination and a passion for hair and makeup, they opened their first beauty salon in Sun Valley, California in 1982. Shortly after opening, lines starting forming around the building. With high client demand, Oscar and Vicky opened two more salons in Studio City and Reseda. We're now proud to announce that they have over 50 years of combined experience in making the world a more beautiful place. Centrally located in the San Fernando Valley, the clientele attracts a variety of people, from hollywood celebrities to the friendly neighboors down the street. Everyone was attracted to our motto: Once you enter through our doors, you're family. Vicky and Oscar continue to successfully live their dream every day. During their journey, they brought 3 beautiful daughters into this world, followed by three adorable grandchildren. Their skills and expertise has been handed down so the Modelcuts promise will carry on for generations to come.
